GE Stereo console found in thrift store. This model has a optional wall mount feature or legs can be added. The hinges act as the wiring for the speakers which are built into the doors.
Front panel below stereo flips down for turntable access and record storage slot on left.
Cabinet gutted of all components and parts.
Cabinet stripped and repaired with wood filler where needed.
Faceplate and housing for new stereo fabricated out of MDF
Veneer added to front of faceplate.
Fabricated plinth for new turntable.
Completed cabinet with dark walnut stain finish, new grill cloth and legs added.
Completed console has Brik Instruments Amplifier and Internet Radio, Bluetooth Receiver, Ion Turntable with Audio Technica cartridge.
